CDP Training

Climate Change Management and Reporting

THE SMART WAY TO IMPROVE YOUR CLIMATE CHANGE REPORTING

*NEW IN THE USA: As a CDP USA Silver Education and Training Partner, ISOS Group is now offering specialized training in carbon management and reporting.

OBJECTIVES:

The objective of this one-day training is three-fold:

1) Educate participants on the different CDP questionnaires, the disclosure process, overall technical requirements, and scoring methodology;
2) Share best practices and techniques for crafting solid disclosure to facilitate increased scoring potential;
3) Improve investors’ access to more meaningful, action-oriented information that supports long-term objective analysis.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

This one day course appeals to a broad audience- both first time and existing reporters, representing publicly traded Companies that are managing and disclosing their environmental impacts through the Climate Change Program and the Supply Chain Program.

TRAINERS:

This interactive workshop is taught by working climate reporting professionals with in-depth knowledge of the CDP and decades of experience in carbon management and reporting across a variety of sectors. A blend of instruction, individual and group exercises, guest speakers and real-world examples keeps the course engaging and lively. Additional topics include: the CDP foundations, and walking participants through the CDP reporting questionnaires and CDP’s leadership indexes- the Climate Disclosure Leadership Index (CDLI) and the Climate Performance Leadership Index (CPLI).

PRE-REQUISITES:

Reading through the 2014 Climate Change Information Request and Guidance for Responding Companies document is highly encouraged. Previous experience in crafting responses to the CDP is also helpful, though not vital.

  • Registration includes ISOS Group’s CDP Certified Training Module, all course materials, meals and refreshments, and carbon offsets for all travel to and from the course.

  • Registered participants who are unable to attend can postpone their attendance to a later event date or transfer placement to another person. * CARBON OFFSETS: ISOS makes it its responsibility to calculate and offset the carbon footprint of our  training events. We pay for the offset fees directly to TerraPass , the leading consumer retailer and marketer of greenhouse gas reduction offsets. TerraPass works by funding clean energy and greenhouse gas reduction projects throughout the U.S., including wind farms and biomass energy. In order to better estimate the offsets, we require all the participants to fill out a carbon calculator at the end of our course.
