You can now earn CPE Credits by participating in one of our GRI trainings!

All reporting organizations are expected to transition from the current GRI G3.1 Guidelines to the new G4 Framework by the end of 2014. The G4 Guidelines have introduced a series of new elements, including the emphasis on Material Aspects, a series of General Standard Disclosures and a series of Specific Standard Disclosures. For those interested in using the GRI G4 Guidelines as soon as possible, GRI strongly recommends that you complete the current GRI Certified G4 Training to get up to speed with the latest requirements for sustainability reporting. Upon training completion you will receive the new G4 Certificate directly from the Global Reporting Initiative.

Our In-Person GRI trainings now satisfy 16 CPE credits for CPAs at the overview level- 4 hours each per business & organization, communications, social environment of business, and specialized knowledge & applications. In accordance with the standards of the National Registry of CPE Sponsors, CPE credits are granted based on a 50-minute hour.*

Our Approach to Training:

ISOS CSR applies innovative but practical approaches to learning that will fast track you to expert status, equipping trainees with the know-how required to manage the reporting process. Through presentations and interactive learning, participants will be able to firmly grasp GRI’s sustainability reporting methodology and devise a process adequate to their individual needs. Our experienced instructors will provide participants with hands-on instruction by utilizing GRI’s G4 sustainability reporting framework content, supplemental GRI reporting publications and sustainability reports from leading organizations as case studies.

Topics include: material aspects and boundaries, stakeholder engagement, data collection, goal setting and GRI principles for defining report content and quality, external assurance, report publication and project management. Additionally, the new G4 Modules will bring you up to date with the latest requirements for CSR reporting including new In Accordance levels (Core or Comprehensive); new disclosures regarding Governance, Ethics and Integrity and Equal Remuneration; and new GRI indicators related to Procurement Practices, Grievance Mechanisms and Supplier Assessment.

Registration includes:

Two days of instruction; GRI certification upon completion; meals and refreshments; learning materials; presentations from experienced GRI reporters; invitation to the ISOS exclusive LinkedIn group of Certified GRI sustainability reporting practitioners.
