Mark Stodola, Mayor @ City of Little Rock
Melinda Glasgow @ the Mayor’s Sustainability Commission

The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) is the world’s leading framework for sustainability or corporate social responsibility (CSR) reporting. The GRI framework is suitable for organizations of all sizes, from all sectors, featuring sector specific metrics that can flexibly be adapted to communicate performance in key sustainability areas.

Content: Participants will learn how to use GRI G4—the latest version of the GRI guidelines—to manage the reporting process, assess an organization’s significant impacts, select report topics and performance measures, and follow best practices for developing top-quality sustainability reports.

Trainers: The course is taught by working sustainability reporting professionals with in-depth knowledge of the GRI Reporting Framework and decades of experience managing enterprise-level reporting projects across a variety of sectors. A blend of instruction, individual and group exercises, guest speakers and real-world examples keeps the course engaging and lively.

Earn CPE Credits: CPAs earn 16 CPE credits at the overview level: Four hours each per business and organization, communications, social environment of business, and specialized knowledge and applications. In accordance with the standards of the National Registry of CPE Sponsors, CPE credits are granted based on a 50-minute hour.

Upon training completion, participants receive their globally recognized G4 certificates directly from the Global Reporting Initiative.

  • ISOS Group makes it its responsibility to calculate and offset the carbon footprint of our GRI Certified Sustainability Reporting trainings. We pay for the offset fees directly to TerraPass , the leading consumer retailer and marketer of greenhouse gas reduction offsets. TerraPass works by funding clean energy and greenhouse gas reduction projects throughout the U.S., including wind farms and biomass energy. In order to better estimate the offsets, we require all the participants to fill out a carbon calculator at the end of our course.

  • Registered participants who are unable to attend can postpone their attendance to a later event date or transfer placement to another person. Complete cancellations will have to be made at least 2 weeks prior to the event date in order to receive partial payment. Partial entails full payment minus $150 for processing fees and material costs. Travel expenses will not be reimbursed. If course collaborators find it necessary to cancel or postpone the event, then all registration fees will be exchanged for participation at future scheduled events.
