Nancy Mancilla - ISOS Co-Founder and Managing Partner

Nancy Mancilla

Co-Founder & Managing Partner

Nancy Mancilla, Co-Founder of ISOS Group is in charge of business development, GRI trainings coordination and integration of sustainability concepts into value-added practices for businesses, communities and governments.

As an added function of her business obligations, Nancy has co-taught various MBA programs, served as a guest speaker at leading conferences and catered to industry roundtables to fill particular need for her sustainability reporting expertise.

Prior to co-founding ISOS Group, Nancy worked to assist Winrock International in developing their sustainability services and led numerous micro-economic development projects related biodiversity, agronomics and renewable energy. This position was a result of an analysis completed for Winrock on the sustainability of their hydro- electric projects in the Republic of Georgia as opposed to Russian energy sources. She has served on the Little Rock City Mayor’s Sustainability Commission, Arkansas Clean Cities Coalition and the Arkansas Biofuels Alliance.

Nancy earned her Bachelor’s degree in International Relations (IR) with a Minor in Environmental Studies from the U.S. International University in San Diego, California. She also holds a Masters in IR from the University of Amsterdam- ISHSS, as well as an inaugural Master’s degree in Public Service from the Clinton School of Public Service in Little Rock, Arkansas where she dedicated her work to sustainability. Nancy’s native language is English and she has a working knowledge of Spanish, German, and Dutch.

Nancy is a CSAP Sustainability Assurance Practitioner, and a Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Certified Trainer in the USA, for ISOS Group.


Alexandru Georgescu

Co-Founder & Managing Partner

Alexandru Georgescu, Co-Founder of ISOS oversees finance and operations, ensuring the execution of our company’s vision and leading sustainability reporting services and solutions to our corporate clients.

With a special interest in mathematical modeling for business insight, Alexandru is responsible for the implementation of best practices related to sustainability and carbon reporting (GRI, CDP, GRESB, DJSI) along with providing external assurance for corporate responsibility reports and GHG verification for CDP reports.

Alexandru has achieved a broad managerial experience in financial modeling and investment analysis, currently providing expert advice on the linkage between non-financial and financial reporting to improve our clients’ understanding of sustainability reporting and reiterate the business case for corporate responsibility. Prior to incorporating ISOS Group, Alexandru has worked as a market analyst in the Investment Banking Industry in the United States and for the past eight years has focused on IT and Finance developments and their applications in the sustainability reporting industry.

Alexandru holds a B.A. in Mathematics and Economics with a Minor in Cybernetics from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, Romania and has graduated as a Beta Gamma Sigma Alumni from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, USA with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Alexandru speaks Romanian and English fluently and has a working knowledge of French and German.
