More specifically, it pertains to how we store, use, transfer and delete information involving you and/or your profile details. Our aim is not just to comply with privacy law.
This effort not only aligns to the ethical foundations undertaken by the global standards that we represent, it helps create a model for the etiquette we hope our friends throughout the world would strive for.
Information We Collect & How We Use It
ISOS Group doesn’t purchase contacts or search the internet for those that it may want to pitch to. Rather, we build our contacts through persons who may have taken one of our certified training courses, attended a workshop or exchanged knowledge through thought leadership. When reaching out, it is to notify our network of organizational changes, industry development or opportunities to grow and strengthen one’s practice of non-financial reporting. The tracking we do is merely to evaluate the effectiveness of our campaigns and to monitor shifts in positions, which typically happens in our space. We will never publish through your third-party account (like Twitter, Facebook or Google) without your permission.
Due to our position in the market, it is advantageous to know where our friends in the network are, so that we can best support them throughout their careers. With your approval, we intend to use this information to:
- Provide, test and improve the market for non-financial disclosure
- Fight spam and other forms of abuse
- Generate aggregate, non-identifying information about how people consult ISOS Group’s services

If we are going to share your information in response to legal process, we’ll give you notice so you can challenge it (for example by seeking court intervention), unless we’re prohibited by law or believe doing so may endanger others.
