This workshop is designed to explain the alignment between the GRI Standards and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The SDGs are part of an international action plan to create a better future for the planet and people with peace, partnership and prosperity. Aligning sustainability strategy and reporting with these global goals can help an organization set larger objectives and develop strategies for implementation. Participants will learn about steps they can take to incorporate specific SDGs into their existing sustainability reporting process. Upon course completion, participants will receive a certificate directly from GRI.
This 8-hour SDG course, split across two 4-hour sessions, will be taught online with live course instruction. Participants may be asked to complete a short assignment between sessions to reinforce learning and to prepare for the following session.
Session 1: June 25 (8a -12p PT)
Session 2: June 26 (8a - 12p PT)
